Evil Woman was formed in July of 2000, when Lysianne (ex-Valkírias) invited Florisa (ex-Valkírias, ex-Monasterium and currently plays keyboard in Into Morphin) and Jeane (ex-Drink My Tears) to make a band of covers of Black Sabbath. Isis Werneck, that also played in Drink My Tears, was called to assume the vocals. After 15 days of the first attempt, Evil made its first show: in the party "Quitos dos Infernos", in UFPI, with the bands Hipnose and Johnny Bravo. In the next day, Evil Woman participated of the "Bagaceira Rock Festival III", with the bands Káfila, Megahertz and Psycho Bitch.
Another shows was performed until february-08-2001, when happened the last show with the vocalist Isis Werneck, that after a lot of problems, left the band. In april of the same year Evil Woman was back, this time with a new front-woman: Eldima Barros, who played also as backing vocal in the band Acesso. The new line-up: Eldima Barros (vocal), Lysianne Reis (guitar), Florisa Gessle (bass), Jeane Doo (drums).
As a tribute band, Evil Woman plays only Black Sabbath, and it has on set list classic songs like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, N.I.B., Iron Man, Sympthon of Universe, Under the Sun, and, of course, Evil Woman. The new setlist contains songs of the time of Dio on Sabbath, and songs of the solo carreer of Ozzy Osbourne. They have made lot of shows in their city, Teresina, (in Piauí, Brasil), and around northeast of the country.
Evil Woman cares about their own songs too. Nowadays, they are composing, and the plan is to start a new band, maybe with more musicians. They wanna release a demo CD until july, 2003, with songs that mix a lot of styles that influences Evil, like doom, gothic, hard rock, alternative and prog metal.
